The journey starts with a very exciting morning flight to Lukla, which is one of the most dramatic airstrips in the world. The flight is short and gives sweeping views of the Himalayan range, deep river valleys, and snow-capped peaks. The Landing at Lukla takes trekkers straight into the high-altitude environment and prepares them for the trip of a lifetime. The trek to Everest begins in Lukla, where we follow the Dudh Koshi River through small villages, prayer flags, and mani walls.

The trek to Phakding is an easy trek, helping newcomers to adjust to the physical and psychological environment of the Khumbu region. Day one on the trail is also an opportunity to learn about Sherpa life and to meet with local villagers. It is a good day for excitement and acclimatization, with a short trek of around 3-4 hours to give a good start to the Everest Base Camp Trek.

Now, trekkers can get into the depths of the Khumbu region as they go trekking to Namche Bazaar. This is the entry point of Everest. A trek to the Tengboche is a moderate trek combined with cultural and spiritual experiences. The path is through rhododendron forests and small villages in a gradual ascent towards the iconic Tengboche Monastery. The monastery is located at the foot of the Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam mountains. This offers a breathtaking panoramic view of beautiful scenery and a peaceful environment. Visitors can witness daily Buddhist rituals and experience the spiritual significance of the region.

From Tengboche, the trail climbs gently through alpine landscapes toward Dingboche. Dingboche is a beautiful village with high mountain views and a beautiful place to acclimatize. The hike is intermediate in difficulty with a steady climb up to the highlands. The highlight of the whole trek is the arrival at the base of the Everest. Trekkers get to Gorakshep, which is the final settlement towards the base camp. The location is breathtaking and an eye-opening experience, with prayer flags blowing along with the wind, having climbed up tents scattered throughout the area.

Being at the foot of the highest mountain in the world is a personal milestone for all trekkers. The day is physically demanding but immensely rewarding, offering panoramic views of surrounding peaks, glaciers, and icefalls. Kala Patthar is the finishing point of trekkers and will offer them unparalleled panoramic sunrise views over Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. The way back to Pheriche not only offers relief after the summit but also the consideration of what has already been accomplished. Start descending through the beautiful valleys of the Khumbu region. On this final day, you trek the last part of the journey on the way back to Lukla. Spend this evening eating a farewell dinner with your trekking group, sharing stories and experiences of the adventure. Fly back to Kathmandu in the morning with a fantastic view of hills covered in snow in the Himalayas. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the day at leisure. You may walk around the busy streets of Thamel, do souvenir shopping, or visit some cultural sites like Swayambhunath or Pashupatinath. On this day, you can relax, take some rest after the hike, and direct your attention to the rich culture of Kathmandu. More of the journey through the Khumbu region, as you prepare to make your onward travel. The final flight provides one last opportunity to enjoy the dramatic landscape of Nepal by air.

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport after breakfast to depart our country. Travelers with more time may choose to add on trips such as Pokhara or Chitwan, or other cultural places of Nepal.
